New to the forum. I've imported a Japanese 1996 Jimny - JA22W with K6A engine to Canada. I need to replace the shock absorbers as their completely worn out but everything listed on line is for 1998 and newer. Anybody on this forum familiar with the Japanese Domestic Jimny's. I think it has a 1 or 2" lift in it.

Not a very common model over here and the bigger issue is that if it has been lifted then the standard dampers won't work with the additional height unless it has been done with spacers. Have you cleaned and examined a damper to see if it has any stamped markings to give a clue of a part numbers etc.?

And of course a picture of the car and especially suspension setup would help as well as we have been looking at pictures of this since the beginning of the internet.. :)
