Front wheel bearing cross matching was created by Bosanek
The original front wheel bearing which I removed from my Jimny was Koyo "DAC4168W HR4CS23".
One cross-matching search in a generic bearing supplier catalogue suggests the following NSK bearings as being equivalent:
- 41KWD01G3CA54
- 41KWD01
- NTF41KWD01G3CA54
I highly doubt that each of these three models are equivalents. Even if they fit by the dimensions, not each might be suitable for the projected load, rotational speed, heat etc.
Can someone with a better insight into bearing catalogues make a proper cross matching?
The thing is that I could obtain NSK bearings for a lot cheaper than Koyo or SKF, and NSK (as far as I know) is also a premium manufacturer.
Also, could and should I just reuse the old large bearing retaining C-clip instead of getting a new one?

If you can then stick with the koyo ones, they are good quality and known to last well.

I purchased the SKF ones as part of research probably 6 years ago.
They were in an SKF box in SKF branded polythene and contained a KOYO bearing
