At the weekend i got hooked up in the undergrowth and snapped a wire under the car running to the rear. The ABS light has come on so by amazing powers of deduction i guess this is the wire from the sensor on the rear wheel.

Is it something special or can i just rejoin it either directly or adding a extra bit of cable? Regards Allan.

I would try and solder/heatshrink the join before buying a new sensor (which is the alternative).

I think the system relies on a specific resistance value, so adding additional cable would not be advised. The join may be enough to upset it.
