235/75-15 on a 2005 VVT, will ET-15 be OK ? was created by OlaGB
Hi guys
Been searching alot, and read alot of wheel threads, but most of them just refer to "offset modulars" and other expressions which i dont know the exact specs of..
So my question: Will 235/75-15 MT`s on ET-15 offset 7x15 wheels stick outside my stock arches/fenders? My measurments makes me believe they will be close, but maybe barely inside.. I dont want them sticking outside
2005 VVT jimny , 2" trailmaster.

Hi Ola
I got the same setup 235/75-15 BFG MT and 2" trailmaster, but using original alloy wheels.
Not sure what the offset and size is though. (5,5"x15" ET5 i think)
I have a slight rubbing here and there. Rear wheels rub on the inside wheel well on full in-flex so it rubs the paint.
Front wheel outside rub on front bumper plastic and couple of other plastic places at 50% turn but runs ok.
I have no mudflaps as they would definitely rub.
Wheels is inside the fenders edge so i do not think it would attract unwanted police or "Vegvesen" attention.
I do not think that any other size wheel would rub less with only 2" lift and no fender cutting.

Thanks Yakuza
Not to worried about rubbing, ill make them fit rub-wize one way or the other, but thats also interesting to know
The reason i ask is i dont want the tire wear surface outside my fenders (Police magnet).
The wheels ive got now are 7,5x15 ET 0, and the tire is approx 25-30mm inside my fenders. So 235`s on 7x15 ET15, will be very close to spot on i think..
