Wheel bearings was created by mic888
Hiya people just a quick one, my half shaft oil seal has been leaking but i cant feel any play in the wheel bearing. I have replaced the king pin bearings and oil seal but its still leaking, i was just woundering should there be up and down float on the half shaft when the freewheeling hubs are removed.
Thanks mick

I seem to have solved the problem so far I've done 100 miles with no leaks, where was before I would do 10 miles then the jimny would be marking its territory. What I have done this time was bought a genuine seal from my local Suzuki garage, this seal was made from a much softer rubber and also was a much tighter fit over the half shaft. Hopefully the jimny will remain leak free.

Your first post was a bit confusing. Which end of the car was leaking. The front or the rear?

Do you remember who made the first seal which did not seal properly?
