Sorry. Longest pair to the front and the longest of those to the driver side.

I would run them with no spacer for a week or two give them chance to settle in
Also thats why the driver side front spring is longer .......so no spacer should be needed

Ok hands up I ballsed it up but tonight I swapped all 4 springs in 1 hour and I fixed the lean the PO had the tallest of the springs on the passenger side. Went for a quick burn and its the best ride so far. Going to make a steering damper tomorrow evening very twitchy. Thanks Jack

I feel as though my Jimny is leaning to the left (its RHD), mind I have had 3 company cars all new for the previous 9 years and they all felt like they leaned to the left slightly, compared with my other car a 2001 Porsche Boxster, which feels perfectly flat. Perhaps I don't weigh enough?

I haven't checked to see if the previous owner fitted a drivers side spacer, but if they didn't are these still available, bits4vits/jimnys seems to have closed.

Is measuring from wheel bearing to body work accurate enough?

I think Dave, who ran Bits4Vits has called his new eBay shop ZukeBob.

Check out eBay.

Thanks,

I found Zookbob on ebay, he sells 1" spacers for front suspension, so will check mine out and order one.

I might have found part of the problem, I have only had the car a month and checked tyre pressures, the rear are 23.5psi, the front drivers side 25.5 psi and the front passenger is only 20.5psi. Looks like they put the wrong pressure in and I have a very slow leak.

I feel a bit of a numpty not to have checked these first.

I've been aware of the lean problem for a few months now as the 2" lift I put on the car a few months ago has settled in.

I have just ordered 3x 1.5cm spacers and a 2.5cm spacer for the front-drivers side spring to even this out. I bought the other spacers as I anticipate the springs sagging a little bit further with the impending arrival of a winch on the front, as well as a roof-top tent on the back.

Looking forward to seeing the result when I get them in-place.
