You can 4 wheel drift them
Apparently the aim of 4WD off-road agility competitions is to navigate the obstuctions without undue wheel spin, which results in a disqualification

Jed60's Missus here: Yes it was an impulse buy, I actually wanted a six wheel Fire Truck:P Drifting? What's drifting? 
We got the Jimny in September, and the sales man was saying then that you couldn't get hold of new Jimny's there was a waiting list. Our's is 3 years old, had done just over 11k (nicely run in!), and absolutely immaculate. I was a bit concerned we'd been sold a fake, after reading your forum try as I might I couldn't hear a single rattle anywhere:angry: but joy of joys have discovered that in the damp weather it does develop a really irritating squeek whenever you depress the clutch peddle:) A true Jimny after all!!

I've not long had my Jimny either but so glad I have it now! 
Bit hard not to look smug as you drive past all the people trying and failing to get up hills the Jimny tackles with ease.
I know I should probably help them...

lol, I stuck some rope into mine the other day
Really want a winch....and a lift....and modular wheels....and bumpers... one thing at a time tho I guess
some lovely examples and how2's on here

One of the most useful things ive ever learnt is how to splice loops into ropes - aint too sure how strong they are, but when i got stuck on Draycott Step in the Mendips a couple of years ago, my tow rope survived the recovery attempt. My standard towing eye well 
So far this winter, no problemo, mind theres more snow in Africa at the moment than we have in Stoke!!!

If it is genuine from brim full to 1/2 a tank is about 105 miles.
Apparently, there are some fakes out there that do more than 30 to the gallon
If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there
