Lads quick question
Just wondering if the o2 sensors in the exhaust manifold and cat converter are not working will that cause the ERG PO400 error ? Have cleaned the erg valve and pipes. Still getting ERG PO400.

Heavy Duty Transfer Box Brackets, 2-inch Black Raptor lift kit, caster adjusters, Rust removed and stich welded new sections. Galvanised Chassis. Body,Engine,transmission swap. Anti Rollbar Roll / Sway Bar / DAVES ARB disconnect kit.Osram Night Breaker Head light mod and white 501 led side lights.

No direct experience of EGR issues myself (hopefully it will stay that way), but does any of this apply to the one on the Jimny?

Sort of suggests temp sensor and vacuum line also possible issues. Could be nonsense on a Jimny, but as you have had it apart you are way ahead of me.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

I had defective O2 sensors and broken cat, only had the P0420 "cat system efficiency below threshold" and the sensor 2 bank 1 fault code.
these are reoccurring on both my suzukis nowadays. Broken cat on my swift and wrong cat on my jimny. both m-series engines. Have tried to swap sensors but no effect on the swift so guess the cat actually is broken. On the jimny I guess it is the "halfords" cat playing up but haven't really looked into it.
never seen (or heard of) any EGR- codes..

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.
