Seems I was being optimistic about the tow capacity. Which is unfortunate.

The two they have for sale at £20k+VAT seem good value, especially considering the spec and finish and the price of a new Jimny.

You would think that the Bergan would have mass appeal for anyone wanting an american style truck.

I have received some info from Yomper for those who are interested..

This is for their model JMV 275 with alloy drop side.
Gross train weight is 3035 kg.
Bed capacity 500kg
Yes it can tow 1300kg but Yomper prefer 750kg as they believe that if used for cross country work 750kg is preferable. Keep the 1300kg for normal road use.
For around £20,000 this motor should prove a very useful estate run around.
