Hi there,
Thanks for adding me to bigjimny.
I'm about to become the proud owner of a stock 2018 SX5 with only 4K miles. Obviously will make sure all services etc are up to date (on time not miles given the apparent lack of use). But are there any items I need to pay special attention to on such a low miles 3 yr old?
Thx in advance for any advice,
Nigel

Welcome to the forum. I too have just done something similar, mine having 9k miles when I bought it. Mine was from a franchise dealer so I have no immediate reason to doubt the service history and will continue on the basis of mileage per the schedule. If it were a private sale then I might have been inclined towards a simple service and full inspection regardless of the service history.

If it's a 2018 it's unlikely to be a Gen4, unless your name is Jonny Smith

Thx. I always get an oil/filter change with used cars, check the pads, tires and alignment etc regardless of the history - too easy to do 'pencil' maintenance.

Manufactured in July 2018, which means it must be a very early model. But defo Gen4...

I stand corrected! Apologies DJ20!
Check the VIN against the recall notices, but if it's an early 68 plate like mine it probably needs both the door wiring harnesses and fuel pump replacing.
