Prompted by Martin's photos of the commercial version's dividing panel mounting points, reminded me to ask if anyone knows if there are mounting points for the missing driver's side overhead grab handle and, if so, how best to access them?
I'd like to hook a bungee between the front passenger side and driver side like I do the rear, for fishing rod suspension purposes.

Body shells for left and right hand drive are essentially the same as to change position of minor items is not cost effective.

To access the welded in nuts, carefully measure the holes for the passenger side mountings and transpose to the drivers side. When I did this on my LC I used a long thin sewing needle and probed and bingo, there they where
Accuracy is everything!

The brackets with the captive nuts for the grab handle are not welded in to place for the UK drivers side. I dropped to head lining to look for them.

Don't go sticking needles in, you might hit the airbag!

Not sure what you mean , the commercial has front grab handles. Rear handle mount has a blank plug the other used for fixing rear cage bracket.

Sorry, my OP was referring to my Sz5.
Interesting that the commercial gets grab handles both sides but the domestic doesn't. I wonder why?

A greater median of sizes of people drive commercials.

Many workplaces have someone ranging from pixie sized to someone of Lurch like proportions

Employers are also covered by disability discrimination act rules on making the workplace accessible to staff.

Interesting that there's a bar right in the middle of the mesh panel? You'd think for visibility they'd have done two bars a third of the way in so they were behind the headrests, not right in the middle of the driver's rear field of view?...
