Its good to see them coming back to the UK again, however Suzuki are also taking advantage of the GEN4 feeding frenzy, the commercial is a SZ4 with the back seats taken out with a £4500 increase. If the local dealers are involved I would expect them to play tricks with the RRP and add their percentage.

Yes, they had promised central ordering and it is not in the launch notes. Therefore dealers can sell them to themselves and then put them up for used prices :(

I note that the load area is actually shorter than the original vehicle by 6cm and it is slightly more economical although as the floor is lower then the "litres" storage is greater.

Here is hoping my choice of colour is the one sent out :)

20K for a SZ4 and no rear seats and it's pot luck as to the colour you get,on the positive it will be worth a lot more secondhand.

The shorter space is probably due to the screen. I would have thought they would have gone with a flat floor, it's a lot more practical.

Apparently we still only get the same colour choice in the UK. No grey or green! I will be looking at getting a friend for Jimbo in 18 months time when he's paid for. I have white which looks good with the right accessories. I fancy ivory or kinetic given a choice.

I’ve been in contact with the local dealer over the last 6 months having expressed an interest; I emailed him yesterday asking for an update and he got back to me just now and said they are getting two cars and I am down for one of them so I have paid a £500 deposit. He said delivery should be in the next three months.

Thanks for the update.  Do you know if metalic paint will cost extra?

i have an order with a dealer and have been advised I am no 1 on the list.  I’m now looking forward to their call.

It's expensive at £20,000 but so are most vans compared to the car version. Look at the Caddy for instance.

Also if a commercial vehicle is bought by a business, they can claim the VAT back and also offset it against tax.

So that £20,000 Jimny Commercial becomes around 40% cheaper.
