Jimny commercial

l did the same when we were looking for a Jimny, some Suzuki dealers were advertising them at £24,000+

Suzuki U.K. replied to both my complaints, but as the dealers were advertising them as "pre owned" Suzuki said that "while they did not condone the actions of the dealers, as the vehicles were being sold as pre-owned it could do nothing"

This is obviously an underhand way to drum up the price !
But better than the listing on same page of £28000.......

In all fairness to Howards Suzuki in W-S-M where I was enquiring, they were intending to sell the commercials at list price. That came from the sales managers mouth so I'd be disappointed if they deviated from that..

They did however have a small waiting list and the silver commercial that I viewed had been promised to someone on that list. I'm in two minds whether to exchange my SZ5 for one just for the load carrying benefits. I think I'd rather team up with Martin and try and source a commercial bulkhead!!!  

Just been offered one this morning but turned it down. It was white the same as our SZ5. I think we'll sit on the list and wait for ivory or kinetic.

l wouldn't turn one down if it's the right price, if it's just because it's not the colour you are waiting for.

The way things are going you might not get another chance to buy one. We were on the waiting list for 18 months for an SZ5 and it never came.

Some dealers are already not accepting any further people on to their waiting lists. My local dealer has 20 people on their list.

My Mrs does the sales admin at the local dealer so we are always in the loop. They only have nine people on the list at the moment. I don't think they will turn out to be that hard to get hold of with a little patience. How many people are on multiple dealer lists?

I've been in contact with the dealer since I heard that Suzuki were releasing the commercial Jimny, and a couple of weeks ago they called to say that I would be getting one of two cars (and I placed a £500 deposit at that stage). I am not a big fan of white cars, so of course I got a call this morning to confirm that the car is.....white! I am still going to take it though as I think they are going to be constrained for a while! My preference would have been for Yellow, then black, then silver; I just wish I knew somebody who wants a white one on another dealers waiting list! 

White looks good, it's just that i already have a SZ5 IN white. With the side mouldings and bonnet protector to break it up it looks nice.

Ours looks like that but i don't have the silver trim on the bumper. We got the rad grille with SUZUKI on it instead.
