Jimny now in Mexico ! was created by Fofo69
Hello from the other side of the world! My name is Adolfo Guzman, I'm living in Guadalajara Mexico (Tequila's land) and I found this wonderful place for the jimny lovers! as many of you, I'm a passionate of the off road world and I'm very excited as I will be a new owner of a Jimny Gen 4 2021 STD version in the next weeks (I'm counting the hours). Here in Mexico, we didnt know that Jimny is going to arrive in the country. It was a surprise and BIG secret from Suzuki, so during last december the company launched a mini-site to offer a limited of 1000 units, this first offering was a total sold out and the possibility to acquire the new Jimny finished in 72hrs!Due to the sucess of the first campaign Suzuki launched a second one, offering same amount of units (1000)., this time the offer closed in 24 hrs!this is the level of madness to have a Jimny in Mexico, Suzuki is selling more models but they never said anything about Jimny which has presence in the rest of the Latinoamerica countries but not in Mexico.

I would like to ask you for your recommendations and I know this site has a tons of documents and guides for the newbies on Jimny, any suggestions and if you want to share your experience and best practices for the new owners that would be great!
Thank you to read my post!

Regards, Saludos
Adolfo

Welcome to the forum.
The Jimny is very good as standard and doesn't really need any modifications. However there are various accessories you can fit such as boot liners, mud flaps, front grilles etc.

I have a pair of gen3 one manual, one auto. The auto is much less frantic on the road and much more controlled off road.
