Lifting was created by ColinTheViking
Hi all, so I have a plan to body lift my jimny using a 2” kit.
I am wondering if this will require any extras such as brake line extensions or castor correction? If not, would I then need them if I already have a 2” suspension lift or plan to do one after installing the body lift?

Things to undue
steering rod both ends, this comes from column to steering box
un clip brake lines, front n/s near spring, brake connector block, under battery on inside of chassis leg
fuel fill pipes flexy hose, under o/s rear arch behind plastic guard
earth lead.small wire at back of engine to bulk head
cutting of ty-wraps on engine loom, just lift slow and check for tight wires
possibly more but i'm sure someone will chip in

Yes to the extended brake lines
you will possibly need steering rod spacers (i have new unused set if you want them £20 posted)

If you don't have abs you will need brake bias spring bracket extender

Check for the two flexi lines that are at the rear of the engine bay (or at least there are on the Gen 4)
A body lift may result in these being tight.
