Due to the corona virus my local dealer(who was very good) has packed it in closing 2 Suzuki branches.:(

I started off high and worked my way down ever since :-)

You can expect to see quite a few other changes in the trade over the next few months - and it will affect more than just current Suzuki dealerships. This week I've driven past another major UK dealership network who have decided not to reopen some sites.

Coronavirus is offering some under-performing Chief Executives a fantastic opportunity to shut some 'under-performing' sites and rationalise their existing franchises. Throw in the brewing storm over all those PCP deals, residuals, customer confidence, a recession and the motor trade will see more than a few minor tweaks over the next 12 months. In today's world it's cash flow not the P&L that is the key to survival this Autumn. Just wait till you read the excuses being trotted out in the next set of Annual Reports heading towards shareholders.

It is allways the tax payers and ordinary people that pay for the big money. I was laid off and Usually when we are laid off for a short period here in Norway we get paid well like 60% to 80% of the normal wage. But now much less due to the corona. My company still do ok but still we have to get much less pay and not for so many days and many benefits does not apply this time. I do want to be part of the solution and do my part to help get the society on Its feet on the other side of the pandemic but I feel most of the efforts help the big money like the bank crisis and not the ordinary people and small buisnesses
Sorry for gjetting too political.

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.
