Hi Guys,

First post and I apologise if it's been covered before - likely has.

I'm looking for a set up like this (Attached pic from this website) -

Off Road tyres on stock wheels but I cannot find tyres on the usual sites which seem to fit the Jimny wheel.

Can anyone recommend?

Thanks!

I think they are BF Goodrich MT's, they use 215/75x15 for a standard Jimny.

+1 delighted with the tyre. Might be tempted by the 235 next time but not sure if they rub with OEM mud flaps

Cheers guys! Thanks for that.

So those tyres should fit right onto my stock wheels? Terrific.

How do mud terrain tyres drive on the road? Are they ok to use, or are there any considerations I should undertake whilst driving with them?

BFG Mud terrains are fine on the road. You will notice a bit of tyre noise above 50mph, but it's not intrusive. The most noticeable thing is the reduced grip on wet tarmac. Do a few test stops on a quiet stretch of wet road to familiarise yourself with when the ABS kicks in, then adjust your driving accordingly.

Hi there,

I'm about to order.

Just to check the Jimny came with the stock rims (as above) and tyres with the size: 195 80 R15 - I'm just checking that 215 75 15 will fit?

Thanks,
J

Hi,

I have read on the Facebook group that 225 tyres fit on stock wheels. Is this true? Has anyone done this and what profile would they be?

Thank you.
