I have a 98 & a 99 hard top & soft top. Both LHD.
I want to fit a bonnet guard to the 1998 tin top.
But...
The website states it's only for 2000-2013 models. What's the difference between the 98-99 and the 2000+ ?
Anyone tried fitting one on a 98 or 99 ?
Looking for a nice clean and straight LHD Jimny..... Not any more.
Got one that seems to have been magnatized and driven through the "Big Jimny Bits" parts stores too quickly so it missed a few items.

The picture is showing what i think is the early model. Should fit 1998 to 2013 as there is no difference between those except the (lower part of the) front bumper from 2009-ish (markets variations).
1998 to 2013 (and then some in some markets) the grille is included in the bonnet.
2013-2018 (variations within markets) the grille is stand alone, the bonnet stops on top of the grille and is taller in front due to the taller fenders/wings

Thanks for that.
I think for £55 I'm going to risk it.
I can't see why it won't fit.
If it does, I'll let everyone know.
