Wire colours for the radio was created by Louisd9
Hi everyone, hope you are all well during this pandemic, I am currently trying to change my radio to an aftermarket radio in my 2006 Jimny and I am having trouble figuring out what colour wire does what, I cannot find it anywhere not even in the Manual... For example, I have never seen a red and green wire?? or yellow and red? Anyone have any ideas? or a diagram?

Thanks

Louis

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationan iso adapter for Suzuki will make your new stereo plug right in.
f.ex:

most car parts stores or car stereo store have this..

If you already cut the plugs, it well may be you will find this in the service manual in the electrical diagram section.

I replaced the radio in my 2011 Jimny with an aftermarket radio, it came with an adapter, but one of the wires was in the wrong place, the lights wire I think, but it might have been ACC.

I must have found a wiring diagram as I traced it through and corrected the lights position. I aslo added rear speakers so must have traced those as well, but can't find the wiring diagram now.

For what it is worth here is the radio DIN connector assignments.

A quick look online and these pin outs don't seem to match other 20 pin plugs, not sure how that works then? I can try and find my wiring diagram or check the colours over the weekend if you want?

ISO adapter is plug and play and costs a few quid - no need to match/solder at all.

There are also ISO plugs that can be used on the original wires. With them there are a little less wires behind the radio and maybe a little less chance for rattling.
