I'd guess most of the sorn ones are being used on large work sites, private estates/farms, quarries, forestry etc where they don't get used on public roads.Andy2640 wrote: Wow, that is very interesting!! Ok, so im guessing the SORN vehicles have been mothballed for prestige/investment collections??

If I read it correctly 2005 had the most Jimnys (GLX) Taxed/SORN in the UK at 13,977 and as off 2018 there is now 5,983 taxed and 3,103 on SORN, combined a little over 8,000, still a lot but off their peak.

I had a Defender wave at me today, caught me totally by surprise I didn't get chance to wave back.
