Hi all you cleaning masters
I have a question about snow foam
Does anything in these products do harm to polly bushes /Rubber ect
Was just wondering if i can wash under side and engine bay

No been washing mine for years, saying that probably good to use a good one like Bilt Hamber, EZ sub zero but I'm no a professional

Same here - used it for years on end - it's all PH neutral these days, too - there used to be worries about it stripping wax off but it doesn't.

Things that WILL attack rubber and plastics is mineral based oil and grease - always use silicone based products where possible instead

Really need to wash engine bay it stinks

If you're washing the engine bay, don't do it with a pressure washer.!
I'd strongly recommend masking off/removing as much of the electrics as possible, and avoid sensors.

The guy in this video is a bit over-enthusiastic, but this is generally the procedure I use for getting the engine bay clean. (without the over-enthusiasm!) VIDEO LINK HERE

(Products I use are:
Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner diluted and in a spray bottle
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray wax
Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer Trim Restorer or Aerospace 303)

HaHa he thinks them engine bays are dirty
Mine as 1/2" of mud on underside of bonnet

Same method though

...Just a pair of wellies needed too
