Seriously? That must be breaking your heart, just as a watcher I can tell how much you seem to love the Suzuki scene. As long as it is only health related and not outside pressure then that is sad but fair enough. Just remember though that whatever you do you'll always be welcome here.

Yup, gutted, but lots of great memories...been doing this for around 27 years now...
Time to find something else to fill my spare time... I even brushed the front drive this afternoon... without being prompted!

I have thought long and hard about what I would do if I were forced to step away from cars. Radio controlled buggies!

Oh no!
If I had the money and the space I would buy them both off of you and dry store them until you bought them back for the same amount in the future!

Sorry to hear about your eye problems. I've had some relatively minor issues with my eyes recently and it really made me appreciate how important they are. I hope you are able to continue doing what you enjoy.

Hello Dave
I'm a little late finding this thread.
Very sad that you feel you need to move on. I for one will miss your hugely interesting articles, comments and thoughts, Your posts are like a part of this forum's 'furniture' and it will be a rather slightly more empty room here without you.
I would urge you to stay; I left a SAAB forum behind with howls of protests from other members of that forum so I still dip in there now and then even though i haven't owned a SAAB for many years.
It's people like you with your boundless enthusiasm for the subject, which 'really drive' forums like this, but whatever you ultimately choose to do, I wish you all the luck in the world.
