I don't have a good comparison of the compressed length of your hydraulic bump stop compared with the standard Jimny bump stop. For that reason (and to really do the measurement correctly), I would go with exactly what Lambert suggested. Remove the spring and shocks as the person on the other forum did so that measurements can be taken. After that, raise one side of the axle until the hydraulic bump stop is bottomed out, being careful that the opposing side doesn't drop so far that it damages anything (I doubt that it will). When that is done, you can measure the shock mounting on the compressed side to see what the smallest compressed shock length can be. It would obviously be best to look for a shock with a slightly shorter compressed length than that. You would then measure the shock mounting points on the opposite side to determine what the maximum extended shock length can be. As Lambert also mentioned, if the extended side is longer than the shock that is available, you would need to add limiter straps.
