I think I might just switch to Insa turbos following the trend.
Now to pick a pattern.
Special Track matches my current tread. (I can live with the noise)
Also considering the Dakar and Sahara.
Would like to get a bit of snow fun if the off chance snow happens (usually get a bit here in Wales)
Any thoughts on these 3 ?

There's some really very competent new tyres available for the price of remoulded ones these days especially if you are looking for all round performance.

For snow performance something with sipes in generally work better. Aggressive MT's are ok in fresh snow, but can lack on compacted or frosty snow or ice. I'd also sway to something more on the narrow side too for snow use.
For general off roading, something like a Diamond pattern would probably suit the Jimny IMO.

They look to be based on the Maxxis Trepadore Competition pattern. Ziarelli were selling these a couple of years back. They look cool, although I'm not sure how well they would perform on British terrain.jackonlyjack wrote: I like the look of insa turbo K2's but not sure they do your size

The genuine Maxxis ones use a special sticky compound and aren't designed for winter use, in fact they even have special instruction for cold weather storage to prevent the rubber being damaged by the cold. I suspect they are designed for things like the Mint 400 and King of the Hammers, on generally dry, hot hard and dusty sandy and rocky terrain with areas of baked mud. Terrain we just don't really have in the UK.
I'm sure the remoulds will not be using a special rubber compound. They look like they should be a fairly ok mud terrain, but probably not as good as some others that are available.
