Jimny (gen. 4) boot cubby dimension was created by Angerhaus
Hello guys, I have a new Jimny on order and I'm looking at some gear for it. Would any of you kind souls be able to tell me the internal dimension of the optional OEM boot cubby? I neglected to check this during my test drive, and I'm in a country where Jimny isn't available right now otherwise I'd just pop down to the dealership and measure.

I'm referring to the storage compartment that makes the boot's floor flat with the rear seats folded. More specifically, I'm looking for a tire repair kit that'd fit inside it. I know my ARB kit wouldn't be able to.

Thanks

That is, "about". I did not empty everything out to take the measurements. If you feel that you do need the exact sizes, let me know, and I will take them for you.

Many thanks, Steve.

That's smaller than what I would've guessed, which really narrows down which critical gear I'd be able to fit in there without occupying the limited boot space with a bag. If anyone is curious, here's what I've worked out so far:

Smittybilt 2733 tire repair kit (22.9 x 15.2 x 5.1 cm)
Michelin 12264 mini tire inflator (13.8 x 11.3 x 5.4 cm)
NOCO GB20 booster in GBC013 case (25.8 x 13.8 x 9.7 cm)

This is gonna be snug. I was hoping to be able to put GoTreads in there but too bad.

Steve.

Be aware there's a notch in the middle of it which is quite a bit narrower than the 180 w

See, I should have emptied it. :)

I plead Not Guilty, on account of the wind and rain.
