I needed one quick so I could compete in a RTV next day some 6mm plate and an old socket

Found a socket that fit into chassis cross member
Made a cardboard template, welded socket on a few bolts.
Been recovered with it

Received the following reply from Jimnybits today:

"To be honest, nearly all the Gen 3 parts are done for the Gen 4 model, its just a case of finishing and tidying up admin of the parts (custom made cardbaord boxes, adding SKU's) etc etc getting photos etc etc
so nearly all the gen 3 parts are (in slight variations) done for the Gen 4

so hopefully the next month they will be rolling out

yours

Rus"

Good news, but I take this to mean that there is nothing that wasn't previously available in the offing, and that any problems Bigjimny Forum members may have had in the past (very few, I suspect, but see jackonlyjack's difficulty cleaning his front diff guard) will probably persist with the Gen 4?

Nature of the beast really make the diff guards with larger holes for cleaning then you make them weaker, I normally just get the jet washer in them :)
