I need to change the sump on my 2007 Jimni, lookimg at the engine i wold guess i have a timing chain and not a belt.

Correct. That'll be an m13a vvt. Chain drive.

If you can get hold of a ramp and a transmission jack, you can change the sump with the engine still in the car.
