Its been well over a month since the Jimny arrived.

For the past 8 days she has been back at the dealers to have the reverse camera and a set of reversing sensors fitted. The car was supplied with the reversing camera "missing" and several other electrical widgets were not functioning as expected.

The car, as a concept, is ideal for me, without the lo-vision aids and with any on-going electrical issues, its useless!

After several discussions with my son, we will be changing dealer for the scheduled service visits. A major factor to this decision was degree of difficulty with public transport access.

Day 8: I will update this post with edits rather than add new posts.

Edit: Phoned Suzuki (Aus) early (06:00) this morning. They agree, 8 days is not satisfactory for 2 hours work.
They will follow up the delay with the dealer and get back to me after lunch.

Edit2: Later, but still early (08:00) this morning, a phone call from a different dealer, in response to an on-line comment.
He was most helpful, he reassured me of the involvement of Suzuki Aust. and their local Service rep, this problem will be sorted! I now feel more confident in the Brand and justified in making the change to a new service dealer, once the current issues are resolved.

Edit3: Two phone calls from the Service Manager this afternoon, its all happening now, as we speak! They are sending someone from the service dept. to pick me up while they do the sums. :)

Edit4: They did, and she's home!
