I'd just get a 25 quid part worn something or go spareless with some of the tyre plugs and a can of repair mousse goo.

Just been looking at the km2 again and there's some evidence to suggest that they're something like 30mm taller the the mathematical predicted size can anyone substantiate that? It's just that 29s will not fit under Ermintrude.

I do indeed! Sizing is, as far as I can tell, spot on with the numbers. They are about 30mm taller than the standard 205/70s which equates to 15mm closer to stuff/15mm more clearance but they do fit and in day to day use don't foul anything. 4 up with a trailer on over bumps one of the rear tyres does occasionally foul the arch somewhere.
I've never noticed any sort of tyre bounce but I'm pretty numb to that sort of thing. I just drive and hold on tight! Wet tarmac grip is particularly poor but they do well enough everywhere else and are exceptional in mud.
I generally run them at 19-21psi, putting them up a bit for longer trips. From what I read, the all terrains are a much better all round tyre but I'm working in mud 5 days a week so the compromise suits me.
