Thanks Gadget.

That's very interesting.

Google translate will translate Japanese to English and on line currency converters will convert JPY to GBP

Suzuki should allow uk people to buy Japanese Sierra accessories.

I'll ask Suzuki customer services in the morning.

They're coming. Perhaps not the entire range, but Suzuki say details of what will be available will be announced before the end of this year.

Regarding the brake LSD, certainly my experience was that it was capable of braking individual wheels, i.e. it doesn't just work in a cross-axle.

They talk about braking diagonal wheels as that is a very typical situation where you lose traction off-road, called being cross-axled. But the system will detect and brake any individual wheel if it is spinning faster than the others.

Hi Busta.

Can I raise this subject after a one year induced coma?

Are there any hard facts on the way that the SZ5 Allgrip spinng wheel method of torque vectoring works now that some of us have had a year to play with the vehicle?

I can't see any details in the Jimny owners manual.

Following on for your view that it will detect and brake any individual wheel if it is spinning faster than the others.

Can I ask:-

In two wheel drive high ratio mode.
If one of the wheels spins should the spinning wheel be braked?
If both rear wheels spin should the wheel spinning faster be braked?

In four wheel drive high or four wheel low ratio mode.
If one of the wheels spins should the spinning wheel be braked?
If another one of the wheels spins while the first is active should the spinning wheel be braked only if it is on the other axle?

Given that one can move from two wheel drive to four wheel drive at 60 MPH and below does the risk of axle windup only occur in low ratio mode,
