I ran on Toyos some years ago and everything from wet grip to noise levels and wear-rate was really good; I couldnt fault them

You get use to it, went form a focus st to a 89 mini believe me that was a change in luxury but love it, less is more

I've not personally used Nokians on any car ever, but I can tell you that plenty of people in the SAAB world, in my old SAAB forums, swore by them and still do. (PLENTY OF INFO HERE) - for them it was the No.1 choice.
However how well they suit the Jimny if available in the right size would be subject to trial and error.
