Been for a bomb around the peaks in a different motor today, a big Daf tractor unit, pulling timber from the top end of Derwent dam. I've got to say that sliding around on a slippery lane is a whole different sort of entertaining when there's 26 tons of timber behind you. I wasn't driving but still had my heart in my mouth a few times.... Had a quick run in a forwarder but I didn't have any PPE so couldn't get out and take pictures, did a crazy incline climb that no 4x4 could have come close to, you can see it to the right of the forwarder above the landrover.

Oh yeah, had a dam. busters moment on the way back...... paid respects at the R.A.F. memorial. Thanks Richard, cracking day out and a great way to find lanes...
