Where to get a Jimny 'spare' key? was created by Caelite
Hey folks

I'm after a spare key for my Jimny as I only have one, just need the keyblade and ignition transponder, no need for a remote. Tried my local Timpsons, they tried to make one (for £30), but the stock suzuki key blade they had was too short for the Jimny for some reason (local Timpsons guy has logged this with their technical service).

Anyone know where else I could go for such a key? Don't know any other highstreet type brand that does that kind of thing.

If you do not want any hassle just go to a suzuki dealer. tell them you can get the key blank copied at a local shop yourself if you want to save some, and make sure they code the new key to the immobilizer/ecu.

They used the wrong blank - there are two different lengths.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

Look up a local locksmith. They usually do them too.
