I used extra rubber bits to make the wobble stoppers longer and fit properly with the 31" tyre. Works ok, Time will tell for how long!

Door hinges tend to loosen up a little through wear etc. I kept mine on my gold Jimny well lubricated after having a green Jimny which had badly worn hinges but that was used by a golf club owner and for some reason its hinges had gone.

Thru the winter season I got a ski rack on the spare wheel. Have to have a steel wheel to make it fit. Driving on bad roads with two pairs of skis makes a slight knocking noise from the door because of the extra weight. I think the sheet metal wobbles where the bracket is mounted.Garuuu wrote: Ive got steel wheels from Jimny bits and bf goodrich a/t tyres (215/75/15). I guess this adds 10 kg for the rack and 10 more with the skis.
In summer i have my 235 BFG on alloy wheel on there. No problems with any of the setups.
My bracket is slightly modified due to the 235.
