Hello All,

So I'll start with a confession, I wanted a defender but couldn't afford one! I've been after a 4x4 as a second car after getting stuck on a mountain rescue shout and having to get towed out by the team vehicle. Embarrassing

I picked up a 52 plate at the weekend and I'm already in love with it. No over the top features lovely and simple.

I can't help the feeling it's got the all of the charm of the proper mini combined with the charm of a defender. I'm smitten!

Anyhow look forward to getting involved

Welcome to the fold. Having had a defender I can honestly say that you dodged a bullet not getting one. Too much hype, too many flaws. You will love your Jimny.

Welcome along. I'm in and out of a Defender and a Jimny most days and the Jimny is definitely the nicer place to be. Fun and nimble to drive, surprisingly spacious, comfortable and the heater works! Willingly or not, you've made the right choice.
