Had to get some replacement keys done for my recently purchased Jimny (one of the keys was split and twisted - how on earth could that have happened?) and managed to get two cut at Timpsons for £70, Seemed like a bargain compared to those nasty central lockers that cost £200-300.

Does that price include the immobilizer chip programming? I need to get a 2nd key cut for the Surf as I only have the original key from the donor Jimny and if I lose that I am screwed!

Yes it does, I tried both keys in the ignition and they worked fine.

It is possible to get aftermarket replacement parts for those. I bought a complete unit from AliExpress for something like £45 and took it to a local locksmith to be cut which cost £2. I would think that the £200-£300 will include the programming which I was able to do myself.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.
