Brake lines

Thanks guys now i have some idea what to fit for the 2" lift my next question is do i need to change the brake lines for longer ones. If i use the 2" body lift a lot of things need to change shorly ????

you can get away with going up 2" without changing the brake lines.
any higher and I was advised to change them.
if you donot want to buy new ones, you can simply cut a groove in the body and relocate the union that the flexi bit goes into.. its a bodge though.

I changed my brake lines this year when I went up another 2" in lift, the new lines are almost 5" longer than the origionals and there is loads of spare in them.

ok thanks for that what about chunky tyres what size can i go upto without cutting away the archers

Again, it depends on a few things.

we have 215x80 r15 diamond backs... these are much larger in radius (close to 30" tall as they are remoulds and have very large tread blocks.
We have not cut our arches, we simply trimmed the lower 1" off the rears to stop it from digging stones and mud up into the bumper.

Its widely accepted that 235x70x15's are the best option ad the compromise in the difference in gearing for the speedo isnt out massivly.

basically you can get away with a 195x80, a 205x70, 215x80 even a 235x70.
Have a look at some of our posts, they are with 215x80's fitted, but we suffer with being unable to get to 70mph on roads

could i fit wheel spacer on any of these tyre size's

yes. were running 30mm spacers.
if we fit our "summer" tyres and alloys (8" wide) the tyres are illegal.. need to fit some extra wide arches, but our mud tyres are fine.

My father runs standard wheels and even with spacers, his wheels are nice and wide, but donot protrude outside the line of the arches...

if that makes sence !
