made mine sound a little noisier which gives the illusion of increased performance
but took mine out as it's hard enough the hear the cd player anyway, and it made the fuel consumption even worse.
the paper filter I put back in only cost £5, and at the time the K&N cost me £30 - maybe more now, so can't see the K&N being cheaper over the cars life as an argument
