Okay so I have been looking at fenders for a while and really liked the Land Rover Defender arches but wasnt 100% sure thats what I want.
But I love the Wrangler fenders even more, but haven't ever seen them on a jimny.
So what do you guys think, do you recon wrangler fenders would fit?

Here a link to the ones I want:

Hi matey,

Im doing the exact same as you, and from what I can see the wrangler ones although they look awesome, stick out a TON, and look a bit daft unless your running super wide tyres.

Im probably gonna go for the GRP defender ones, can get them £90 delivered, Im just not sure how good GRP is to work with in terms of cutting to size etc.

Yeah some dont look to bad, i think if you dont cut your arches up to much i think they would look quite nice.
I might even take a sander to them and cut them down in size.
I just know there the ones I want.

Yeh I thought about sanding/ thinning them, but I think there is a lip is there not? Just thinking that would be hard to get back and then kinda ruins the look?

Just throwing around ideas! I'd be really keen to fit jeep ones too!

Think I'm going to buy them and see what I can do, see If I can make them fit some how.
Would love to make some side steps that match up with them.
I know someone who makes side steps for land rovers and they look insane, see if he could either make me some or show me how he had his.

Shall post everything on here like as I do it

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationYeah just had a measure up for these. Think I could possibly get them to fit.
Its more for looks then practicality for me, I only do a small bit of green laning, so wheel clearance isn't really an issue for me.

you will need ALOT of tyre to fill wrangler arches so unless going with big wheels (33's?) i think it may be a bit over kill?

maybe look into zuki-andys jimny arches, perfect fit for a jimny in a similar design to LR arches

HAHA they fit perfectly,

you were the example i was thinking of to be honest mike,

you've got 12.5" wide tyres on big offset rims and fill the arch, if someone was to put these arches on a car with 215's etc the wheels would be lost!

good to see you on here mate, get the jimny back on the road!

i cant talk i think mines only left the drive three times since the last mot, and its just run out again, i think its time to give it some good TLC and chop the back off it and add a cage
