Hand winch, any good?? Waste of money?

Even some 5 or 10 ton ratchet straps would enough to inch your way out. I got rescued from a rut using a 500kg rated strap. Just enough to inch forward and get grip on some waffle boards.

I have one which is handy for other tugging jobs at home too.

Do it right - use Hammerite

ive never needed a winch for a tug job am I doing it wrong? :blink:

Tirfor hand winches are the BEST hand winches (I know, just never ask me why, but relies on a VERY GOOD Ground Anchor.
