How to tell a vvt engine to a non vvt engine

Alright guys my engine is non vvt m1a, we got a few swift engines at work and I don't know how to tell a vvt to non vvt, we may even have a liana m16a just need to know what to look for on them :-) May do engine swap if we got right one, cheers guys

It's the shape of the front of the engine if it has a little bulge it's a VVT
Google jimny liana engine conversion and there is a post with pictures to show what I mean
If you fit a liana engine they are all none VVT engines, it's only the jimny and swift that were both
I've got the liana engine in mine, it the easiest engine swap ever and gives great power increase with a factory fit
