I 'test fitted' a body lift!

I'm currently doing some boot floor work and had some old aluminum blocks from a previous motor that fit but the center hole isn't big enough for me just to buy the bolts.
So I've done all the hard work etc and it gives me better access while working and painting.

Will have to get a proper lift before it gets moved

Ideal!!
I've yet to try them out properly, did a local lane to test the kingpin job was okay but it was nothing more than an unsurfaced road.
Just a bit bumpy no more than a 2wd trundle.

I went a bit mad today and applied the vacuum cleaner to the inside of the car. It seems to have gained me an extra 30 mpg! It's amazing what a difference not carrying 200kg of mud and rock and hay and sheep poo does for the handling of the car too!


(There may be a little bit of hyperbole in the above figures but only a little bit.)
