I repaired a very bad installation of the snorkel by re-positioning the battery and recreating the connection to the air filter box.



I installed a huge 4kg CB in 1DIN. I struggled for a whole day and this is the result

I managed to acquire some shackles to bolt through the tow points. All the shackles I have are too big so this solves the problem until I get some HD ones welded in. Not that Jimny's get stuck!!

Hate to say it, but they look like they will exert a magnified force on the recovery points... The ofset will twist the mount round, possibly off?

the part thats bolted through the eye doesn't move but the oval part is free to move so I think it'll be ok.

Changed my tranfer case for a lower ratio, And while i had it out i altered the bucket it's in, so my x brake is now part of it.

Not today but Saturday, I went for fuel and snapped the alternator belt and realised after a look in mirror that it also runs the water pump and cooling fan.... Next weekend to make sure it's not cooked
