Good find Nicho, Just waiting on one of the UK jimny parts suppliers to make some! ;-)
What they have not allowed for here is for lift as this messes up the angle of the drop links.

I dont know if someone has said this but it would be nice to have a tubular type winch bumper (like the x-rox one in oz) but WITHOUT the a-bar so we dont have to worry about plod pulling us over. Oh and a diesel conversion would be handy :) .

That's easy but a wast of time ! The cv only has an angle capacity of 6 degrees before it reduces strength to 1/3.
A uj is much better suited. The cv was put on there for more civilised road use but useless once you ad a lift. And also the plunge doesn't give enough travel compared to the splined slip of a conventional prop.

I have a spacer on my auto that allows the use of the Jimny std rear prop and so far it works fine. It does give a less harsh drive line, and on my car anyway, the prop is very nearly in line ie without large angles at either end. The ERM kit uses a new flange for the std Jimny rear prop to fit to and from the use/abuse I have seen them take it doesn't seem to be a problem in terms of breaking the cv joint. I suppose the ideal would be a double Cardan joint at the transfer box end. Better still would be a rear prop that used bigger ujs as the small Suzuki ones wear quickly with a low ratio transfer box.
Trouble is where does it all end??!!

Manual VVT, 2 1/2" lift, ORA castor corrected arms, 2" ORA body lift, 4:1 transfer box, Uprated front shafts & CVs ERM , ARBs back & front 3.9 diffs, 6 point cage, ORA winch bumper - Superwinch EP9, ORA rear bumper, ORA axle truses, Diff guards ERM , TBR tank guard, Snorkel, Kumho KL71.30.9.50 15

The ideal ones are Toyota surf rear props shortened to fit, they have the same bolt patern they are wider angle and much stronger. They only need the register on the flanges increased by 1 mm and they are then bolt on.

Cheers for the prop info. I have a sj front prop but it needs a uj.

I'd better crack on and get one then!
