Bent front diff! was created by Monkey
Hey guys,

Got bit silly on the beach today, and ended up, bending my front diff and blowing my front shock up to. :(

I have a few choice's here,

A) Get a new front diff and brace it?

b) Straighten my diff and brace it?

C) Um...is there a option c??

Any way, what would you do and why?

Also where can i get some good axle trusses from?

Cheers

Andrew

I would brace it from the knuckle and in to the bump stops as well.

Is the shocks bottoming out before the bumpstops? should extend the bumpstops as well

Cut it, straighten and re weld. Make your own braces and weld on.

same, id get axle trusses, diff guards and knuckle gussets from ORA.
But i'm waiting for the next TOR show to get these. I have seen some re-furbed axles at CAM with all the ORA goodies all ready welded on, about 4-5 weeks back.

Thats the best diff guard i've seen for these, you should knock a few up and flog them.

Nice bit of kit! Bolt on stuff is always good for those of us that cannot weld!
