Only the rear springs of vitara fits at jimny.

And you might need a teflon spring spacer at front to correct

the front lean of the car because all 4 springs you are going to fit have the same height.

O right, what's the reason why the fronts dOnt fit? I rake it it's the drivers side front that needs the spacer ?

if vitara rear springs fit what about using some rover 600 rear springs as they are used on the rear of vits to give a 3" lift ????

i can see the springs on vitara's being stronger/take more weight, bigger engine, and bigger in size, but as for the rover 600 springs, they may be softer.

so you wreckon the rover 600 springs will fit a jimny and lift by 3"? why wont they fit the front?

Have a search on google or e-bay for vitara front shocks and you will see they are a completely different design to the jimny. The Vitara has a front strut (shock/spring combined) as opposed to the jimnys seperate spring/shock set up.

Other than GV's the vitara should be very similar in weight, remember the Jimny is a bit lardy for a small car at 1000kg+

If you're after a cheap lift and find the rover springs do fit the rear you can buy just 2 spring spacers from dave(bits4vits).

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!

The front vitara springs have bigger diameter than jimnys one. So they dont fit to the pattern.

The 600 rover springs are not for 3''.

What we use in Greece is a set of 4 rear springs from XL7 for 3'' lift

or most common at the competition setup jimnys 4 rear springs from the calmini kit of 3'' for vitara

which give a real 4'' lift.

The best combination is 4 rear calmini springs from the 3'' vitara kit with Hotbits shocks.

Worth's every one euro that you spend to buy them. This is going to be my next setup.

rover 600 rear springs do give a 3" lift to the rear of a vitara so if the calmini 3" rear springs from vitara works on the jimny then i dont see why the rovers won't do the job

its worth a try

It wont give a 3'' because the 3'' calmini for vitara have more spirals.

But yes if you can find them cheap we dont make a try.

I have 4 rear lada samara springs witch gave me 4'' lift.
