You are correct. In RHD Jimnys the handed springs are at the rear. Hard to tell from the parts manual what the difference is but its at the rear.

If the Jimny had any I would suggest the longer spring may be to counter the twisting from the engine torque

I found the installation manual and the long spring goes to the Rear - right hand.

I also found this interesting PDF from Old Man Emu (OME) which offer same specs as the king springs
www.rocky-road.com/jimny.pdf

** take a look on the remarks regarding the Jimny REAR springs:
OME966 suits japanese built models (RHD) with a 20mm higher right hand side coil.
OME967 suits european built models (LHD) with equal height coils.

Another input - those are the part numbers taken from suzuki EPC.

As you can see, both front and both rear springs are identical in a LHD Jimny.
For a RHD Jimny there are different part numbers for the left and right springs in the back.

LHD Jimny:
41111-84A00 - SPRING, FRONT COIL
41311-81A40 - SPRING, REAR COIL RH
41311-81A40 - SPRING, REAR COIL LH

RHD Jimny:
41111-84A00 - SPRING, FRONT COIL
41311-81A50- SPRING, LEFT COIL LH
41311-81A30- SPRING, LEFT COIL LH

btw, my car is a 2006 Jimny SN415VD-4 series.

Once again, what does "handed" mean?

I use the term "handed" to mean they only fit one way. So, for example, track rod ends are "handed". They come in left hand versions and right hand versions and the left only fit the left side and the right only fit the right side.

Gloves are often "handed". The left hand gloves only fit the left hand (due to the thumb position") etc.

Therefore "handed" springs are design to fit on one side of the car, but not the other side.

means specific size or shape depending on what side to goes on - left hand or right hand hence handed :)

Can anyone using the procomp 3" kit can measure the height from the wheel hub/center to the top of the fender - both front and rear?

Thanks!

I have tough dog springs in my jimny which are made by "KING SPRINGS", when i fitted my lift the springs lengths were slightly different but not by to much, i fitted the longer coil the the RHS or drivers side and i have equally lift all round, even with a driver. Have also spoken a few 4wd shops and they always fit the longer coil to the drivers side here in AUS.
