Hello ! i live in Indonesia. i am currently started a Suzuki Jimny restoration project. the car that i have sold as Suzuki Katana in Indonesia. it is basically the same model as Suzuki Jimny JA11 but with different engine. will update on the bodyworks soon

Evan looking forward to seeing you work on this , On the face of it looks like its in pretty good condition , Ok you have to do some work but its not a massive project . Always like those JA11's loads of possibalities and look really good as pick ups . Keep us posted and rock on .

Heavy Duty Transfer Box Brackets, 2-inch Black Raptor lift kit, caster adjusters, Rust removed and stich welded new sections. Galvanised Chassis. Body,Engine,transmission swap. Anti Rollbar Roll / Sway Bar / DAVES ARB disconnect kit.Osram Night Breaker Head light mod and white 501 led side lights.

yes it does look good on the outside. but there'a a lot of rust behind the paint.


also found this trash  don't know how it ended up there... the suspect is a rat

a little updateremove some rust and swap the high roof to the flat one.the flat roof is Suzuki Genuine Parts (SGP)

I too had a plan to swap the high for the low roof on mine. but before I got around to buying the wreck with the low roof, vandals jumped on it..

Funny to see how they rust in more or less the same places all around the world. Is yours also japanese made, or Indonesia?
I also had a spanish SJ413 Samurai but the rust was spread more all over on that one.
nice color, agree with the modern/ retro look with the white roof. Like the Slim bumper too.

Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.

well, mine has a good condition because the previous owner took a good care :). but i am preeety sure all other jimny here has a lot more rust.

I got a brand new low roof imported from japan (wich is Suzuki Genuine part) for IDR 2.800.000. i think it is preety cheep here.
