Happy that you had some great time here, its a nice and safe island. Before Covid, we had two full flights arriving from the UK daily, one from Virgina nd one from BA.
I have friends who visit for 4 months at a time, Jan to April every year, sad not seeing them this year.
If ever you visit again, we will meet for sure.

This is the mod I did for the 4WD gear stick after the 2" body lift. This prevents the gear stick from hitting the floor and not fulling engaging into 4WD Low Range. I extended the height and also moved it forward from its original position.

For the 5 Speed gear stick, I cut a small triangular notch on the front of the stick close to the gear box, bent it forward about 1.5 inches and welded it afterwards, so that has also been moved forward.

Prior to that, 3rd gear was touching the 4WD gear stick. The pic above shows the gear stick in 3rd gear after I did the mods, about where it is when stock.

Hey Sniper, hope all is well. No problem at all, would be happy to meet and take you around in Jimnaleno :)

Yes some of the roads were of off road standards LOL but many have been repaved within the last 2 years, don't worry, there are lots of off road trails here.

Cheers Mate.

Thanks so much mate, I have no Reason2doubt you

Thanks for your reply and compliments. The mod is easy to do if you can weld, for both the 4WD and the 5 speed gear stick.

Cheers Mate.

I am using the Baleno engine harness and ECU with my G16B swap. I bought a complete working car to get the engine, wiring harness and ecu to do my swap.

We stripped the Jimny wiring right out, separated the G13B engine harness wire by wire leaving behind whats needed for the ECU.

We then separated the G16B engine harness from the Baleno and then I will integrate and tie that in along with the crank sensor and some other inputs into the Jimny with the ECU. Doing it this way will ensure that we get the maximum power out of the engine buy using its own ECU.

Its the long way to do it, but since Rhinoman is not remapping any longer, it was the next best option.
