So are you keeping the standard lenses?
Thought you was buying bulb holders for the lights :)

That size light bar works well. With mine its like daylight on the lanes with it on. :)

The upper lights have (virtually) no holes, so I need to drill them and put in notches for bulb holders. I cant nick the ones from the bottom lenses as my went many years ago, so I need to get some replacement ones - Does that sense?

will try to sort out the pics above
i used haksaw and cut the stop/tail bulb holder off original cluster
sanded flat 15mm overall length
i used hole saw 25mm and used tape to centralise
i think step cutter would be easier
then super glued in position then used silicone for extra seal and strength

Things have started arriving now for the upper rear light conversion :-)

I went to scrap yard today and managed to get a rear wiring loom from a Liana for £5, I cut this up to give me the stop/tail lamp, and it also has the orange indicator bulbs that I'll also need, so that was a bonus! The finished result....

JackonJack - I just filed out the original holes to make the shape (rather then cutting and gluing), and the lamp holders seem secure enough - time will tell.

I have also stripped out the plastic side panels inside, ready to start work on it. The inner wheels arches will also get a quick waxoyl before I put the side panels back on, as surface rust is appearing at the welded joint. I have decided to put the trailer socket inside (mounted on the plastic side panel) this will keep it dry and less prone to damage. My small trailer has a long lighting cable, so I can just feed this through the rear door rubber seal when I need to tow.
